Ambient 1: Music for Airports

Two faces of anticipation

Brian Eno created this album to dissolve anxious atmospheres and, in part, as a result of his fear of flying, for introspection and resignation in the face of the possibility of death. I started from the two emotional extremes generated by anticipating a flight in the waiting lounge: calm and chaos, imagining the best  and worst that could happen.

Process

I explored poses that represent a moment of calm and others that reflect an aerospace emergency. I also worked with textures that evoke a serene or chaotic sky, using color to add meaning and emotion to each situation.
